Photographer’s Note

Not all harbours are busy places and this one on the shores of the Seealpsee is rather deserted, still this nice small blue boat is inviting to a small cruise on this nice little lake, hurry before first snow ;-)

Hello Jean Yves,

The colours seem bright but I like them. I also notice a bit of moon near the main summit. This image is excellent. Its details and light make it attractive. Good point of view with the canoe stealing the foreground. Thanks JY :-)

Guten Morgen Jean Yves!
Das Motiv ist wunderschön - vom Boot bis zum Säntisgipfel. Der Bildaufbau schafft fast einen 3D-Effekt und man meint, dort zu stehen. Ich finde aber, die Farben sind etwas zu gesättigt (vor allem das Grün).

Une image qui me rappelle ma promenade d'il y a quelque jour autour de l'Oeschinensee. Les barques étaient également présentes. Le cadrage est bien vue même si j'aurais coupé le tuyau qui pénètre dans l'eau sur la droite. La montagne en arrière plan est vraiment majestueuse et tu as de plus saisi la lune au passage.

La composition est très attrayante avec cette barque au premier plan et les légers reflets de la montagne dans le lac.
Je trouve que tu as un peu trop poussé la saturation, ce qui donne des verts et un ciel peu naturels.

Vu l'antenne au fond sur le sommet, j'aurais parié pour le pic du Midi (Pyrénées). Perdu!
J'aime bien la manière de rentrer dans ta photo par la barque au premier plan et ensuite le regard se dirige à travers le lac sur les sommets. Netteté optimale - terror des pixels! - et couleurs (herbe et ciel) super saturées. Deux tons qui s'accordent bien bleu et vert.

C'est une composition pleine de punch , même si le bateau n'est pas rouge , mais d'un bleu bien pêtant . Ses lignes acérées font un contrepoint à celles du sommet calcaire . Et puis , toujours ce cadre merveilleux .

Beautiful image of an area I would want to visit long before the threat of snow. It is the up-turned boat that draws the attention but examination of the image reveals Lilliputian houses and people enjoying the day on the lake shore........and no sheep, or cows with bells on! ;D

L'effet miroir sur l'eau du lac est un atout à la composition. Le bateau à l'avant-plan dirige notre regard vers les montagne ce qui donne un effet de profondeur à la photo. Il y a un bon contraste entre la couleur bleu du ciel et les couleurs du paysage. Bonne soirée.

Unbelievably clear light and color here! That's the kind of high-altitude light we can't get anywhere else, and beautifully captured in this photo. Great balance of elements - the canoe and the mountaintop on a slight diagonal, while the canoe body makes a cross diagonal. But what is that light streak on top of the smaller peak? (OK, I see it's an antenna, as you explained to Zanzi.)

Well, boats are my private competence, especially if they are blue and match the sky like in this case...
One shouldn't expect a boat in a small pond like that, but maybe after Alinghi won the cup the Swiss people have become all sailors... ((:-)

ouah! les couleurs! on dirait que c'est pris avec un jaune!! Faut croire que tu as bien travaillé sur photoshop!;) Je blague bien sûr. Je ne suis dans un aucune clique, ni rouge, ni jaune.
J'aime bien le premier plan qui punch bien et qui rappelle le bleu éclatant du ciel. La clarté de l'image est remarquable.
C'est la lune qu'on voit au-dessus/à côté de la montagne?
