Photographer’s Note
This is a kind of storehouse(härbre) for keeping grain and animal feed. They are common in the provnices of Halsingland and Dalarna and nowadays when they are not used for the original purpose they are often rebuilt to summer cottages. The same kind of building are also common in Norway (stabbur) and in Finland (aitta). A Spanish hórreo or a Portugese espigueiro is in principle the same kind of building.

Hello Ulf,
The fog give a special athmosher to this nice view very well balanced. The FG, on the left, give a great prospect effect.
Have a nice WE,

Hi Ulf, great atmosphere in this shot with the mist. I like your POV with the bench and tree to the left providing nice framing of the main subject. I'm just currently reading my first Stieg Larsson book (Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) so it's nice to see a shot from this area; I think this is not too far from where the book is set.
cheers

Hi, Ulf,
I like very much the mood created by the fog in this photo. You have used it to excellent effect by providing us with a clear view of the bench and grass in the foreground, the half obscured building at mid distance and nothing behind.
The composition is perfectly balanced, with bench and tree on the left creating an excellent open frame for the building and tree on the right.
Well conceived and well executed!
Regards,
- William

Hej Ulf,
The misty mood here gives an extra dimension to this capture. Usually one tries to avoid skies like this, but here it works very well together with the other dark and "mysterious" colours. Interesting building with a well ventilated subfloor, obviously no moisture transportation from the ground.

Hello Ulf,
And you forgot to mention they were build on poles to prevent rats & mice to enter hahaha!
Sinister mood on this foggy September day, muting the colours and enhancing the feeling of mystery...
A fine composition with many good details to explore!

Hej Ulf,
this is one of those "mysterious" views which I like very much :) Excellent light management, taking into account the difficult (in my opinion) light conditions with this fog! The POV is just great, perfectly very well composed image :)
Best regards,
and have a nice weekend!

There is a sharp contrast between the tree in the left and the rest of the photo.
All the tings together, and the way they seem to appear in this one, make it a little bit mystical to me.
Well done!

You're the second person I've seen recently who has made an asset out of foggy weather. (gunbud is the other)The composition is excellent with the foreground tree used as a frame. The storehouse and the other tree fill in the space nicely, and as we can tell it's foggy we don't notice the 'white' sky, or at least we don't mind it. Well done

Hej Ulf,
The atmosphere you've managed to capture in this faint light is quite remarkable. The details of the building are just visible in the haze, which make them even more interesting. The traditional fence is a nice feature, and the well worn bench in the foreground is a very fine part of the composition. Everything looks a bit spooky, but attractive.
Tack och hej,
Gert

Hi Ulf,
A great grey moody picture of this Swedish landscape. An excellent picture. It is like reading a book of Mankell and that I mean some of his novels and not the Wallanders.

Hello Ulf,
and now a picture where I can tell my opinion really briefly: very good! I like the effect of the light fog that you explored excellently by taking the bank into the foreground.
Compliments!

Hi Ulf!
I love the feelig of this picture with the old storehouse in the morning mist!
The contrast between the dark tree and bench in the foreground and the shed and tree in the mist gives the best of effects!
Have a good evening!
Marie Louise.
