"SOBREVOANDO O ESTADO DE MINAS GERAIS" - REPRESAS
"FLYING OVER THE STATE OF MINAS GERAIS" - RESERVOIRS
"EN SURVOLANT L'ÉTAT DE MINAS GERAIS" - RESERVOIRS
In my flight from SÃO PAULO/SP - GUARULHOS/GOVERNADOR FRANCO MONTORO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT to JOÃO PESSOA (Capital city of the STATE OF PARAÍBA/PB), MINAS GERAIS/MG, one of the largest brazilian States, was on our way and as we traveled high up on the sky, I could identify many places down there (only brazilians will know this name, probably: São Tomé das Letras was one of them). At this very moment, I was flying over the area around the towns of Carrancas, Conceição da Barra de Minas and Madre de Deus de Minas. I could clearly see this reservoir, one of the several ones that exist in the RIO GRANDE/GRANDE RIVER as it runs towards its final destination/mouth in the border of the States of São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Goiás and Mato Grosso do Sul, because it goes across lots of mountaineous landscapes (so, some hydroelectric power plants were built along its way). This one is small if compared to others that are the real "ocean" for the MINEIROS (people who were born or live in the State of Minas Gerais), because it's one of the brazilian states that does not have a shoreline!
SORRY, MY IDENTIFICATION IN THE PHOTO IS WRONG... I'M NOT N.PEÇANUK BUT N.PEÇANHUK !!!

Bom trabalho!

I like the color FX. Very graphic picture.

Valeu ,Neyvan!

What is impressive in this photo are the scale of the waterway and the colors. The brown water says that there is much silt being carried along. The land is very lush in its deep green, which contrasts nicely with the brown river. (This pattern is very much different than in the western US, where the water is blue and the land is brown!)
The photo has nice sharpness and I like how you have arranged the position of the meandering river in the frame.
I notice some haze in the sky and I wonder whether you were using a polarizing filter. I don't have any experience with such a filter (yet) but understand that it can help reduce the impact of light scattering by haze.

This is an amazing landscape and the point of view shows the scene very well!
So many interesting details to explore, and the huge river is the eye-catcher as it is winding through the farmland...
Stunning good details even if the colours are muted by the haze, the puffy clouds are the spice of the scene!

A good aerial capture of this meandering and rather muddy looking river. Interesting colour contrast between land and water. I like the little puffy clouds dotted about.

a spectacular areal view! So many interesting details here and I love the few scattered clouds. That river looks really dirty! Is it always so brown?
Take good care,
