Photographer’s Note
Thought i'd take advantage of the great weather we're having, so i went downtown early this morning.
This photo was taken while standing on the deck of the newly built, recently opened Vancouver Convention Centre. I still don't know what exactly that big blue needle-point thing is, but i at least thought it looked cool.
I tried to compose it with Canada Place Imax, which can be seen in red/white on the right.
Thanks for looking!

Hey Craig,
I passed by this place quite a few times but never took the time to take any pictures there.
This is cool! Colours are great! Blue spire.. red spikes.. morning light creeping in.. plus city lights! Great pic!

Nice shot Craig!
I wish I was back home in BC right now- although I can't complain after having just been there in July.
I saw this convention centre for the first time while I was back. Quite nice how they finished it off with the walk/ cycle track around the front of it.
It's interesting in how you managed to get the foreground sculpture so sharp and detailed yet the lights across the water interestingly blurred. Overall- a pleasing shot.
Cheers!

Though I did like the other shot [technically], though overall I like this composition better. Timing and light are superb!

Craig,
the deep blue of the sky are great. The solitary star is beautiful too.
Congratulations,
Wagner.
