Villa D'Este... Designed in the 16th century for the illustrious Cardinal Ippolito D'Este... it was a meeting place for great minds, great artists, and the wealthy.
Wandering through the garden on a humid August morning, sun filtering through the trees & dappling the path, I immagined this place must be almost as beautiful as Eden... if perhaps a little too warm for my taste.
