Photographer’s Note
A group of hikers rest after having reached the top of Silver Peak Mountain. At 539 meters high, Silver Peak is the 3rd highest mountain in Ontario and is located in Killarney Provincial Park. The summit provides spectacular views of the lakes and forest of the park. Inevitably you meet fellow hikers when you reach to top; it is a very popular destination. If you go in August you’re rewarded for your efforts by wild blueberries that grow among the scrub bush and rocks.
