Photographer’s Note
This photo is taken in Granada, Andalusia. I took the picture from the old part of Granada, called 'Albaycin'.
The Alhambra was so called because of the Arabic words for 'Red Castle'. It is located on top of the hill al-Sabika, on the left bank of the river Darro.
The Alhambra is located on a strategic point, with a view over the whole city. The complex is surrounded by ramparts and has an irregular shape. In the complex you have a 'medina' a formal town within the walls, there is a military fortress at the right (so called Alcazaba), in the front you see the Alhambra, the palace of the Nasarit Kings, behind is the palace of Charles V, there are beautiful gardens (Generalife), a church and much more to see...

Hello Didier!
One of my favourite places in Spain, and one of the most impressive castles-palaces I have ever seen in a very impressive, representative and original photos of this place I have ever seen! Great composition and framing, excellent job in stiching! Congratulations!
