Photographer’s Note

After a long abstinence it's time to get back to TE.

During this time among others a small trip to Beijing and Shanghai has taken place.

Here my favourite photo. It's one of the few photos I used a tripod so far. Processed in Photomatix as HDR / Tonemapping of three original shots. First attempt so far too.

It shows the beautiful building of Chinas "National Centre for Performing Arts".

outstanding photo. The colors are wonderfully deep. The reflection is almost perfect. Your use of a tripod really paid off. I had to look at it just to see what it is. Very well done.

Hi Thomas,

I really like all the beautiful colours you've got here, the transparency, the reflection. But the highlight is the "orangy-pinkish" sunset which echoes the interior of the structure.

This building looks gorgeous with its curvy lines and make me think of a modern submerge zeppelin... A giant one...

Hello Thomas,

There are a lot of skills on this photo. It is quite perfect to evidence the pastel color and the mood of this end of day.
Usually I am not fan of HDR as the tone mapping is not realistic but here it is well managed.
