Photographer’s Note

There are about 20 wonderful beaches along the Atlantic coast near Torres Vedras.

The ocean was so wild that we could not go swimming. But the huge waves were so beautiful, I shall never forget it - the feeling of the power of the ocean recharging my batteries...

I believe that the baby (4 months old) who was already with me there could feel it too - he will be a traveller, and a photographer, of course :-).

"Classic" it certainly is!

An excellent composition here - the beautiful crisp horizon with lovely contrasts between sea and sky - and those bright red features - the sunshade positioned at a perfect angle and the red seat looking so inviting. Then the great strong diagonal sweep of the barrier. A very strong composition indeed.

Fabulous colours and as sharp as a razor!

A superb seascape with a very nice prospect. Very good use of the white barrier and beautiful red color which arise well in the image. Detains of the sea very well collecetd. A very nice summer's view.

A very fresh and appealing sight.
The shot is crisp and clear with strong contrasting colours of red, white and blue.
Excellent composition using the receding lines of the stone fence as a lead.
