Photographer’s Note

On the way from Sandane to Bergen. Valey with river, waterfall, of course (we are in Norway), and small cottage with outside toillet. This is the place I can imagine to spend the rest of my life.

This is a picturesque scene, presented in this appealing and balanced composition!
You make well use of the backlight to make the foliage stand out, creating great depth in the frame...
The atmosphere in this special place is well convyed!

We were just standing in a slightly different place, at different time of day.
I must say that although you don't have the nearby waterfall on your photo (which was in my oppinion really interesting) the overall effect is better. You have more warm light which allowed you to get more plastic details. I like my photo as well (otherwise I wouldn't post it here) but - in comparison with yours it seems to be a bit devoid of life.
