Photographer’s Note
We were arriving early morning at the seaside walk to see the Sculture by the Sea exhibition.
But as happens to me so often, I am attracted to the non-intentional art work. This is early in the morning, the sun is low in the east - to the right of the picture - and the shadows are hard. So many memories of other days...

I like both the idea (and the note that explains it) and the composition of this picture : square, white, almost abstract, with only one object and its shade to disturb the eye, very nice.
It is too bad that your picture is fuzzy. I think that such a picture, based mostly on patterns and shades, should be more sharp and the textures should be clearer. It's only my feeling, and maybe the screen output and size compression doesn't help.

i have to agree with sophie as well, except for the square composition bit. i prefer the normal 35 mm format. when i looked at the thumbnail , i thought it was a dog or something in the corner, but i was disappointed when i saw this life less object.
the composition is great here, but the next time, i feel that you should try and bringing in some life too. with lighe such as this, the long shadows will be able to add more to the mood
take care
