Photographer’s Note

The shot was taken from the ferry taking us back to Gdansk, only two hours one way and 36 zlotys a person (return 2008) and you can enjoy the best views of the harbour in Gdansk and explore the best sights of Hel.
In the WS different POV, I couldn't decide which one to choose...

Hel peninsula is in the northern part of Poland, it separates Bay of Puck and the open Baltic Sea. It's about 35 km long, the town where we were is the last one and you can easily get to the headland.

Hi Gosia,
This looks like very interesting place, reminds me a bit of Skagen in Denmark. I can understand that you had some problems regarding which piture to post. I think that I would have chosen the WS picture, mainly due to the very blue colour of the sea. Also the sandy "tounge" is better placed, according to the rule of thirds. But I guess this is more a personal taste from my side. Both pictures are good!

Witaj, W jakim sensie to koniec Polski? nie byłam chyb nigdy na Helu, nie wiedziałam, ze jest tak ostro zakonczony. Fajna kompozycja. Pozdrawiam

Czesc Gocha,
Zdecydowanie wybieram ta wersje i nie dlatego, ze mi sie tamta nie podoba, ale tutaj ten "busz" wprowadza ciekawe zamieszanie. Lubie takie klimaty (nie trudno zgadnac why ;), wiec foto calkiem jak dla mnie.

No świetne miejsce! To sam czubek Polski! :)
Tęsknotę za Bałtyckimi plażami odbiłem sobie w tym roku i zrobiłem nawet foty mikołajka nadmorskiego. :)
