Photographer’s Note

Here is a second post of the came canola field showing three cyclist on the trail used by the farmer to visit his farm. You can understand by this larger view how I could make a closer shot (previous photo) which gave the impression that the cylist was going through the field.

By the way :Canola is a type of rapeseed and is a Canadian invention; it is characterized by having improved nutritional qualities in both the oil and the meal. Unlike other seeds and plants canola and rapeseed do not have a single Latin name. Canola plants belong to the Brassicaceae (Cruciferae) family that comprises about 350 genera and 3000 species, including Brassica campestris or rapa (TURNIP) Brassica napus (RUTABAGA), Brassica oleracea (CABBAGE and cauliflower) and Brassica juncea (mustard). Canada is the biggest single producer of canola.

Voilà une superbe photo, l'idée de cette composition est excellente avec les 3 cyclistes dans le jaune.
Un peu dommage la paleur du ciel, mais bon.

Hello Nina, this is very well seen and captured in this shot of yours. The bicyclists with their bright outfits are positioned and work well in this scene as a great contrast to this sea of yellow canola. I like too how we can just make out the hills in the background, to dissolve the scene into the grey / blue sky.

Encore une magnifique photo de ce champ de canola. On comprend mieux sur cette photo qu'ils sont dans un peit chemin. L'effet est fantastique.

Hello Nina,

Thanks for this new shot. It is really given an other feeling than the previous shot. Now, very difficult to select the best one. Perhaps, still the previous one.
A very good subject.

Superbe champ de canola.Les personnages avec leurs vêtements colorés contrastent bien avec le champ.Il ne manquait qu'un beau ciel bleu pour compléter le décor, mais il faut parfois composer avec ce qu'on a.TFS.
