Photographer’s Note
Cathedral church of St. George is located in historical centre of Prizren town.
Church construction began in 1856 and was completed and decorated in 1887.
During riots in 2004 the church was demolished and burnt.
Six years ago when I was first time in Prizren this building was under guard from German KFOR troops, now there is Kosovo police in front of the main gate.
It was forbidden to take pictures in front of this Cathedral, so I decided do it behind the wall...

Hi Maciej,
This image has a strong message. That image reminds me the hard times of communism in my country, when the faith was forbiden.
Happily we escape by communism after of terrible 50 years, but Serbian people still have big problems despite of that European Unions says that they are guardians of democracy and human rights.
Congratulation for your courage to make this photo,
Cosmin
