Photographer’s Note

Carmem and I spent 10 days in Ilha Grande. Out of those 10 days, 7 were rainy and cold. This year we in the southeast can say we have a winter.
This image was made by chance in one of those sunny days...

Ilha Grande, although placed under "Rio de Janeiro", is one of the 365(!) islands belonging to Angra dos Reis city, but it´s so special I placed it on its own.

Hello Isabel! What a great moment, what fantastic light. I love to do this myself, it is always a great moment when the waves surprise you although I mean it is not really a surprise but you never really know when it happens or if it happens, if the water does only tickel your feet or if they go over your body.
