Photographer’s Note
Hello again,
this picture is my comeback after a long pause on TE, the reason that kept me away is now almost 4 months old and has about 7 kilos :-).
I am returning to the site I used to know, I used to love and which seems to me to be quite different, some of my favourite photographers are gone, but I hope the core stays the same. For the reason mentioned above I will be able to post pictures and critiques only from time to time, but I hope my TE friends will be patient with me.
About the picture - misty morning at Kuks - Hospital from the beginning of 18th century. Count Sporck built a spa and a small castle on one side of the valley (castle is gone - burned 1896) and the hospital for old and poor people on the opposite side of the valley. The path is leading to the tomb he planned for himself and he could see it from his bedroom as memento morti.

Hello, Romana.
Welcome back and, of course, CONGRATULATIONS!!
Congratulations on your new child. No wonder you've been absent for some time - you must be very busy!
This is another of your lovely restful pictures. The colours are superb - lovely browns and greens - and the early morning mist engulfing the building and the distant trees is wonderful.
An excellent picture and an interesting and informative note to accompany it.
Like yourself, I'm not sure if I like the new format of TE - I think I preferred it as it was.
I look forward to seeing some more pictures from you soon!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hello Romana
Welcome back and congratulations on your baby !
Nice to see you again.
You come back with an attractive picture. The composition is perfectly thought with a great symmetry, and the mist adds a mysterious atmosphere.
A great shot, compliments.

hi Romana,
welcome back, and congratulations :) I'm very impressed that you have time AT ALL to even look at TE :))
but back to the photo - love it, the fog and strong symmetry of the composition create a very appealing image, the tunnel effect draws the eye right in.
best,
Kristine

Hello Romana,
La perspective dans l'axe est superbe, et le brouillard amène un peu de mystère à l'ensemble.C'est bien vu

Hi dear Romana
I'm glad to see you come back.
Wonderful composition to restart. I like a lot the fog effect and the graphism created by diagonals. Fine sharpness and depth

Hi Romana,
Congratulations on your baby and welcome back. I am sure all your TE friend will have patience and understand that you might not always have time for TE. Your come back is wonderful. I love the misty weather and the dark tree trunks against the green grass. The symmetry is perfect and the rows of trees is a great lead-in to the building in the background. TFS and have a nice evening!
Kind regards,
Ulf

Welcome home, Romana,
Congratulations on your new arrival!
If I remember rightly, babies take up an immense amount of time ... and worry. Perhaps the photography will allow you to relax and ... photograph your baby!
This is a beautifully balanced shot.
The pov gives a strong lead into the shot.
I love how the mist has developed a sense of mystery!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
