Photographer’s Note
They belonged to some tribe hailing from Indian state of Jharkhand and were waiting for their turn to their special dance routine. I love the pair of intriguing eyes from behind the guy peeping outside window. The one looking outside has also seen my activities but decided to not look straight to me and give a 'natural' pose.
The shot was clicked during my trip to Surajkund Crafts fair early this year. It is an annual event held in the month of February. Artists and craftsmen from all over India as well as outside display their finest works here. Every day in this 15 day festival is special. If you like collecting exquisite crafts, you may spend days emptying your pocket. If you enjoy regional songs/dances, then there are many such performances going on simultaneously at various places. If you are a foodie, then you can taste delicacies from every corner of India. This event so rich in colors and buzzing with all sorts of activity, no need to say, is heaven for photographers. A must visit place!
Thanks for viewing/commenting.

Hello Darpan,
The matching of the brown-orange colours in this photo is fantastic.
Clear and sharp and well composed too with the dancer nicely framed by the window and its door.
Well done.

Hi Darpan,
An amazing shot. It looks almost African with the tribal headress, arm decorations, face paint and the mud walls of the building. The colours are gorgeous (my favourite) and the person looking out at you behind the main subject is certainly an added bonus.
I'm not familiar with this place (Surajkund) and the festival. Is it near Delhi?
Outstanding work,
Joan

Hello Darpan
Perhaps one of your best candids! The best part is the pair of eyes peeping at you from behind. The dresses make them look more like an African tribal & onbiously shows strong connection in costumes between tribals of India & those in other countries. Like your framing as well...just wondered if a slightly higher POV thereby capturing more of the wall art would have mede it better

Good one. What has facinated me in the shot is placing of different photographic elements in perfect harmony. A tribal look, ornaments, colors & most importantly the drawn image of a peacock and its feather which the man worn. Absolutely wonderful. Kudos !!!

Hello Darpan
I am surprised that your photo has received so few comments... Even if I discovered it only today !
That's a funny shot. There is something unreal in the apparition of these two performers at the window.
I like the pensive attitude of the artist... Perhaps he concentrated on his next dance ;o)
Your tight framing is perfect and you've done a great use of the marvelous colors of the wall to get a vivid and bright background.
Striking quality, well done.

Oh India. What a surprise this is - is this Africa? The Amazone-jungle? No! India has it all! And these matching colours! Well framed as well. My best wishes!
