Photographer’s Note
During the summer months on the slopes of Mt Washburn, a flock of Big Horn Sheep is a delight to encounter as one hikes to the summit. This one, standing apart from the flock, appears to be a sentinel observing all that is taking place on the mountain slopes in this area of Yellowstone National Park.

Hi Calvin,
I like this photo with the beautiful scenery and the big horn sheep on guard. It doesn't seem to be afraid of people:)
It's a little overexposured, however, so the colours are pale and the contrast is low. I have tried to correct it and posted a workshop.

Hi, Calvin,
I have dreamt for years of visiting Wyoming and the "Big Sky Country" and your photo makes me realize why. What a remarkable view. I love the patterns of light and shadow cast by the clouds and the way the hills and valleys go on forever. Excellent depth, great wide view. The workshop increasing the contrast did improve the shot, but that view is just unbelievable. I envy you. Many thanks and kind regards,
Shelly
