Photographer’s Note

This is the sculpture group of 3 workers on the Ochyor Lake. This is a old soviet fashion inthe "Proletarians of all countries, unite!" style.
I add to WS the front view of this monument.

Ochyor (Russian: Очёр), or Ocher, is a town in Perm Krai, Russia, located on the Ochyor River (Kama's tributary) 120 km west of Perm. Population: 15,563 (2002 Census); 16,352 (1989 Census).

The town was founded in 1759 and acquired town status in 1950.

Near Ochyor, a number of important discoveries of Permian fossil reptiles (especially Therapsids) have been made, beginning in 1952.

Пейзаж красивый! Так, как я и помню примерно те же места (ну, пятьсот км на восток оттуда).
Вот если бы еще килограммов мошки не было в воздухе - отличные места бы были!!!
Идея вот так вот ставить статуи тоже орижиналь.
Хорошая фотка, никогда такое не видел (ну, кроме памятника зайцу у нас на Заячьем Острове, тоже так из воды торчит).

Hello Serghei,
There's nothing like good old proletarian heroes statues. This one has acquired an almost surrealistic quality from standing alone in the lake. The effect of the statue, the water and the forested hills in the background is amazing.

Hello Serghei,

Not only the motif but also the style seems typical for the communist era, with the strong healthy looking labourers!
This is a fine documentary with good details, the point of view works well...
I'm not sure of this socket, seems like it is starting growing a forest??

Интересная и грустная композиция,вот так пашешь-пашешь,а в итоге остаешся один на один с природой.Интересно придумано,это так и было или ранее композиция была на твердой землице а потом со временем залило все водой?

бедный древний город... за что он заслужил такую статую? :) как, впрочем, и все мы - за что-то заслужили то, что было и уже является историей...
Весьма любопытный вклад в копилку ТЕ ;-)

А чтой-то статуЙ сей прям в воде стоит?? ах, прочитала ваш ответ насчет серпа и молота с другой стороны. Мда, вот и гадай, что да зачем!:)
