Photographer’s Note
This picture was taken at the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena CA. The museum has a beautiful sculpture garden with a great collection of art and plantings. This sculpture is one cast of a few by Aristide Maillol that surrounds the small pond. She appears to be permanently falling in. My wife adds, “this woman is not fat, she is just sculpted that way.”
