Photographer’s Note
It has been removed even in the spring, in the city of Krondshtat. These flowers in Russia refer to " mother and the stepmother " for feature of their leaves, which from above rigid as the stepmother and from the inside soft and gentle as mum. These are the very first flowers which appear in our city in the spring.
Around even winter and it is cold, and they already blossom.
Still feature of this plant, it that flowers at him appear considerably before leaves.

A feeling well known to me, your picture and the note make a point. Good choice of DOF between the barren foreground and the blurred background to see just what it is all about.

I agree with Francis about the DoF,a nd the PoV is also effective and well chosen. Interesting note.

A nice poetic ensemble of photo and note here, Marianna - a hommage to the distant spring (but just think that in only five months you will be able to take another fresh version of this photo when we will have another spring :-). DOF is effectively used to have the yellow flowers in focus against the softer houses in the background. I think you could crop just a little bit at the bottom, while still retaining the soft focus in the very foreground (which is nice). Well done.

Unusual shot. These flowers underline the tristess of the background. At least by what I can see from it in this shot. I like the point of view here.
I must say that I feel the tension to do a workshop on this one as the photo seems to hide more brilliant colors. But I guess (especially considering your other shots, which show that you are quite aware of these possibilites) it wasn't your intension to get brighter colors. So I will let my fingers from a WS here.

Our rabbit would love this shot :-) I like the reminder of a spring not so far away - even those yellow flowers concidered a pest - thanks Marianna for this different kind of nature shot.

The compo is fine, a small crop upto under the first stone is still possible but I miss a bit the clear coloring, it is there , you just didn't bring it out yet. See WS.

Belle image Marianna, je connais bien ces fleurs qui poussent au premier printemps chez nous. Elles se nomment le "Tussilage" en latin le "Tussilago farfara". Merci de nous les présenter, parce que ici nous attendons le printemps. Amitié/jr

Interesting shot Marianna - great shallow dof and low angled pov. I agree with Norbert that a little cropping from the bottom would benefit this shot. Nice combination of colours - I like the yellow and blue.
