Nice shot of the Heron. They live in our area too but I have yet to capture a good image of these very skittish birds. Good comp and nice sharpness and clarity. Good work and TFS. Gerald

Hi Eric,

Great shot of the heron taking off. The background has just the right amount of blurriness to make the heron stand out, but still give some idea of its surroundings.

Hello Eric.
A stunning shot of this majestic bird in flight. Your high shutter speed and panning has resulted in a very sharp image, and the composition/crop has the bird in the most pleasing position in the frame. The sharpness is really astonishing. I love the bright green background and its reflection in the water.
