Photographer’s Note

This is a small but very famous village in Burgos called Puentedey (Puente=Bridge, dey -Dios-=God).

This village is placed in one of the most amazings regions of Burgos. It's plenty of small valleys and powerful mountains. Its landscapes are amazing. And, finally, lost between rivers and small roads, you can find this village.

Almost all the village is place over this giant rock and the whole place is really magical. The village is nice and also its views and landscapes.

I like a lot this place... but I didn't want to post this photo. Why? Because I was unable to get "good" colours on this photo and I cannot understand why. This is the best I could do.

I shot late. In fact I arrived late at the village. I used the tripod, as usual, and the wide lens... but the photo has deceived me. However I think this place deserves be here, among us, in TE.

I hope you don't mind me trying to find a solution to your colour problem? I posted a workshop here but not sure if this is on the right track or if this is what you're looking for...? Mind you, it's just done 1...2...3 not too much work done so there are still some fumbles visible.

this place is fantastic, goes to my favorites. A similar thing I know only from Slovenia, Skocianske jama, where the river flows through three mountains beyond the village.

I'm not one to resist a challenge, but as I wasn't there I don't know what the colours should be like. However I have tried in a WS to make it look more natural with a 'blue hour' sky.
It is certainly worth posting as the bridge which is an arch in the rock is fairly unique. Your composition is good using the perspective from the river and the little path to lead the eye into the scene.
I sometimes find that Photoshop reads Nikon's blues as too cyan. I have tried the same image with PS and with Nikon's own Capture NX. Capture NX invariably gives me true blues, whilst I often get cyan tints with PS. Having said that, PS is easier to use, so I adjust the cyan/blue hues in the converter. Have a look at the WS and see what you think. It was easy to do but maybe not what you want. Please let me know

Gracias por el comentario, realmente es muy bonito verlo con los ojos.

Bella imagen con colores muy intensos, pero agradable a la vista.

A veces lo que vale es la intención de captar el momento, por ese motivo hago muchas tomas del mismo lugar y diferentes aperturas, asi alguna de ellas sale bien y otras no.
Pero de todas formas una imagen muy bella de esta parte de Burgos.

You use very a lot photoshop, but perhaps find I these picture not bad.
I like the enlightenment of the yellow colour to the bridge.

Ce site est magnifique. Tu as préféré présenter une version avec éclairage du pont, une photo prise à la tombée du jour. Ton choix est bon, c'est superbe!
J'ai fait un workshop car je trouve les couleurs trop saturées. Ton premier workshop offre un bien meilleur résultat, à mon avis.

Siempre es bonito ver tesoros de nuestro pais que no conocía. Precioso lugar, que parece el escenario de un juego de fantasía. Supongo que esta maravilla de la naturaleza ha sobrevivido porque el pueblecito es pequeño. La luz artificial para iluminar el puente le añade una ambiente mágico.

aquesta foto quasi nocturna amb una exposició llarga té un atractiu molt especial, pel resultat en la lluminositat, el cromatisme saturat que no t'acaba d'agradar (jo el trobo molt interessant) i les textures de l'aigua en moviment.
El pont format per aquesta roca foradada és espectacular.

La verdad es que el sitio es impresionante..Sobre la foto decir que está todo perfecto exceptuando el exceso de cian,para su corrección me gusto el WS de feather,y que raro que con el tiempo que usaste no fuera posible mejor color,no?En cualquier caso la foto merece la pena.Gracias por decidir subirla.
