Photographer’s Note

- Chessy Paris Region - On a beautiful morning in the year 1987, a teacher strolling along the Marne river. At the height of Chessy, he stopped suddenly in front of large blocks of limestone, the remnants of an old aqueduct. The idea came to him to restore life, her way ... As it was also a sculptor, Jacques Servières began to carve. At a rate of 2 sculpture per year, they ended up forming a whole of forty monumental statues along the River. I present here the first and another in Workshop.

How interesting to find art like this one in a field. I like the details of the sculptures but the light coming from the right seem to complement the scene very well. Nice work Giorgio :-)

I wonder if crocodiles will be back after some more years with global warming, hehehe..!
This however is one of the more pleasant ones, just standing there surveying the landscape...

un croco.... c'est l'embléme de Nimes avec le palmier ici il n'y a pas le palmier et pas le meme croco, ouf
un statue originale et celle du WE aussi, la lumiére et l'ambiance brumeuse de l'arriere plan donne un cachet particulier a la photo

You placed this statue excellent to the left side, so we get leeway to the right side, with the misty atmosphere.

Ce croco-là est aussi plein de malice. Il a un sourire qui en dit long sur sa personnalité. Les paysage est superbe mais il lui tourne le dos comme pour dire qu'il a mieux chez lui.
