Photographer’s Note

This is a little house on the edge of Meglisalp as the trail is about to climb again to the highest peaks of the Alpstein.

Due to its color it can not go unnoticed, a very swiss neutral house from a photo point of view, orange resulting from a mix of red and yellow...

Hi, JY,

This is a spectacularly _bright_ scene! Wow!

You have three strong elements in the composition: (1) the hut and grass in the foreground, (2) the stunningly beautiful mountains in the midfield, and (3) the attractive sky with nice contrasts between white clouds and clear blue patches.

Color rendering and sharpness are excellent.

Guten Morgen, Jean-Yves! Bevor ich hart zu arbeiten beginne, ein kleiner Blick in die Voralpen. Herrlich die gruenen Matten mit dem wenigen Schnee im Hintergrund, der noch liegt und wer weiss vielleicht schon geschmolzen ist. Wunderbar die Wolken, man spuehrt die frische Alpenluft hier oben. Lustig die beiden orangen Haeuser. Die Appenzeller waren halt schon immer anders, nicht einmal im eigenen Kanton koennen sie ein Kanton sein, daher die Farbe ORANGE. Mmmhh, un bon bol d'air frais ce matin, après une nouvelle réjouissante... décidément, je sens que ça va être une belle journée :D
La vue est super jolie. Quel bonheur cela doit être de passer quelques semaines ici, loin de tout, loin du bruit et des voisins emm... Les couleurs sont superbes, le paysage et le ciel en arrière-plan aussi.

A crispy clear image with a definite spring feeling about it. I like the way the house is surrounded by the mountains making it feel secluded, it is really a beautiful setting. I am sure that I spot another orange house in the distance there.

Ils peuvent sans problème indiquer "vue imprenable" quand ils voudront vendre leur maison (la couleur consensuelle en ferait en plus un bon lieu de séjour pour une rencontre TE!). Très belle composition avec une exceptionnelle luminosité et un ciel à la hauteur.

This is something we don't normally see in Canada's mountains. A little house in a remote valley. The light here is excellent and yes the colour of the house can be lost in the background. Nice framing and details. Cheers :-)

Very colorful and lovely landscape. I do not see this type of places often with my own eyes, so I like seeing it at least in photo.
I like also the light and compo, with a V shape in the mountain and the little "orange" house.

What a fine photograph; it is so clear and crisp!
The positioning of the house is perfect with fine details captured by the sharp focus.
The path is an eye-trickster, taking us in a tortuous route towards the valley of soft green grass, framed by rugged slopes and snow-lined tops.

Dies ist einfach nur schön - sehr schön. In dieser "wilden" Umgebung hat diese Hütte etwas Anrührendes, etwas Beschützendes. Die Sicht in dieses Seitental gibt dem Bild Tiefe und führt den Blick in den Hintergrund. Man möchte ins Foto hineinsteigen ...

Pourtant... que la montagne est belle.
Une petite maison qu'il doit être un peu long de rejoindre, le soir en rentrant du travail. La nuit, le silence doit être total !
Une jolie prise de vue qui donne envie de se promener dans la montagne. Les couleurs sont splendides !

La couleur de léa maison est vraiment jus d'orange, superbe image avec ces montangens en fond, ces éboulis de pierre, on voit une duexième en fon d das maison, mangigique ensemble.
