Si on peut appeller ça du repos... La descente du Monte Cintu m'a permis ce panorama en 4 clichés verticaux qui ne sont même pas suffisants pour en représenter le grandiose tellement les falaises du ruisseau de Tighiettu se referment sur nos têtes, incluant la "tour penchée". Le sentier était à peine plus praticable en descente qu'à la montée, mais n'ayant pas atteint le sommet (visible en arrière-plan) pour préserver nos chances au reste du GR20 nous sommmes tout de même arrivés à temps pour le repas du soir à l'hôtel de Haut-Asco, en attendant de nous attaquer à la fameuse étape du Cirque de la solitude le lendemain.

If you can call it rest... On the way down from famed Monte Cinto I took this Panorama in 4 vertical shots but even then it is not enough to represent it's breadth with the cliffs of the Tighiettu stream closing above our heads, included the "slanted tower". The trail was marginally more manageable than when going up, but not having reached the summit (visible in the background) to preserve our chances on the rest of the GR20 we nevertheless arrived on time for the evening meal at the High Asco Hotel, before going to meet the famous Cirque of Solitude on the next day.
