Photographer’s Note

An interior view of the church of Notre-Dame de Montreuil-Bellay, which stands in the grounds of the château.

Built at the end of the fifteenth century, the collegiate church of Notre-Dame was served by the canons of the Château. Coats of arms of various Lords decorate the interior of the church and commemorate many lives lost during the French revolution. The building was given to the town during the nineteenth century.

Good use of perspective to lead the eye to the altar, and the verticals are nicely straightened to give a very natural appearance. Very well handled exposure. I assume you used a tripod?

Jolie prise de vue intérieure, sans trépied apparemment, ce qui n'est pas toujours facile. Je vois que tu as utilisé un grand angle pour ouvrir le champ de vision.

Hello Stephen,

This is a fine interior exposure, where the brighter parts are well handled!
Fine details are captured and I notice the interior is not entirely symmetrical...
The scene is well framed with a good feeling of depth!
