Photographer’s Note

Back after some time of non-sharing.
Here is a new one taken yesterday with my new underwater combo: Canon Ixus 85 IS and the Canon WP-DC23 waterproof case.
It was my first time using it in the water. I just went out for a quick swim in the 29.3° Celsius warm water (that's what my dive computer said).
So I was playing around with the kit and trying different things. This was one the first shots I did and I like it very much.
My main goal is to achieve a shot where you can see some parts underwater and some parts above the surface. I figure it is pretty hard, especially which such a small camera.
Anyway, hope you like it as well.

I slightly adjusted the levels. Other than that, there is nothing done to the photo.

Hello Kevin! So you have good nerves using your camera in and under water :))) I would not trust these things but maybe I should because this looks totally cool. It is almost like being there myself and gives me a little break from work which is nice. Very nice idea, I like it a lot. Best regards ... Barbara.

Hehe, this is a very interesting image. I like your perspective here, looks like your camera was swimming in the water. I would just crop the sky and give more zoom between the 'underwater zone' and 'over'water zone ;-)
However - as u wrote its not that easy, but this effect is also catchy.

Love the angle ... great composition
Unfortunately, most of the sky cover by white cloud. It would be more more great picture if you have a blue sky here.
But still .. this is a very good picture
