Photographers Note
I made a trip to Kuzguncuk last week, a little location near to Uskudar. I took Bosphorus night shots at this nice summer evening with including the picturesque bridge that connects Asian continent to Europe.
Kuzguncuk is one of the two Istanbul quarters deeply associated with Jewish settlement, the other one being Balat on the European side. In Kuzguncuk, an Armenian church sits next to a synagogue, and on the other side of the road a Greek Orthodox church is found beside a mosque. There is a Jewish cemetery in this quarter. After the establishment of Israel, the Jewish population, once a majority in Kuzguncuk, decreased to the current low levels.
It is a quiet town with streets line with antique wooden houses. The police station in Kuzguncuk was moved due to low crime statistics.
Several TV series in Turkey have been filmed in Kuzguncuk.

Hello Bulent,
This is a beautiful night view of the bridge. The long exposure gives a wonderful look to the water, and the purple lights of the bridge reflect very nicely.
