I was very looking forward to go to Sardinia - for a second time. The last year´s trip was very inspiring and kept me wanting for more (well, the second trip kept for wanting to return even more).
You can hardly find so many breathtakingly beautiful natural locations in relatively so little area elsewhere than in the Sardinia island.

The small town in the background, sitting by the sea under the mountain is Cala Gonone, my HQ for Sardinia for the second year. In my opinion, it´s the ideal location for trips to north and central Sardegna. For those who are satisfied with the sea alone, there are many diverse and wonderful beaches (sand, pebble) within reach. Plus a possibility of boat trips to other beach-gems in the Orosei Gulf (Golfo di Orosei).

This is a view northwards from above Cala/Caletta Fuili, which is app. 3 km from Cala Gonone, easily accessible car or bike (+ a short trip on foot down stone stairs). Photo or two of this beach will follow later.
