Photographer’s Note
It’s been a long time since I’ve uploaded anything here but will be trying to do more photography again from now on and will post when I can. To get started again here is a shot from the same shoot as my last uploaded image.
This is a picture of the roof structure of the Lay Brothers Refectory at Fountains Abbey in North Yorkshire. I loved the sweeping lines of the stone columns and roof.
The Abbey and grounds are maintained by the National Trust and are open to the public – for a fee of course
Technical : Desaturated and adjusted levels to add more contrast. Dodging of some of the darker areas needed to bring out more details.

I like very much your composition with the low POV and also the subject.
You managed very well the light and, that's not strange, the black and white works very well here.
