This archery is at new ministries buiding...

The design of the new building had been the work of ministries Indalecio Prieto, Minister of Public Works. However, that idea had been raised by Zuazo in 1930 in his "Project Prolongation de la Castellana, with Prieto commissioned the construction of what would be the new ministries, to house the ministries of Public Works and Government . Following the demolition of the racetrack, the first stone was laid on April 15, 1933.

The set consists of a large central space with bright squares, fountains and ponds, around which have different ministries, as well as a large archway in the side overlooking the Paseo de la Castellana. Archery is one of the most characteristic elements of the set. Under the patio is dug which is now the suburban station of Nuevos Ministerios.

You have accentuated the symmetry of this remarkable architecture, presenting its most salient property. The light, colors and resolution are flawless. Thank you also for the succinct but informative note. I cannot imagine the photograph better presented, including with the imaginative frame.

Good shot and really great simetry, perfectly divided in half and in this case it really work and is an exception to the rule. Color of the brick collumns are very nice and have good texture. the lines leading us into the walkway under the arch make the composition inviting. Thanks

Amigo Manuel, ya casi unos desconocidos, exactamente desde el 8 Junio en que te comente....En lo que va de Julio yo he estado ausente de las paginas de TE, primero unos dias de vacaciones, despues con problemas en mi conexion a Internet hasta ahora en que ya esta solucionado.
Esta fotografia me parece sumamente artistica, son de los sitios que mucha gente pasamos y pocos tenemos la vision de ver una buena composicion. Me gusta su armonia y simetria, buen color tambien.
