Photographer’s Note
Caught on a weekend away from Seoul in the small community of Yongwol.
We saw three men catching fish and throwing back small ones. They explained to us the practice of net fishing is illegal. They also mentioned that fish they were catching have been imported into the country. They are very invasive and harmful to the ecology of rivers and lakes within Korea.
It was a great opportunity to see.
Tech:
Canon 450d, 70-200mm 4.0L Canon at 1/200th f4.0 - Hoya UV filter - that's it. Small adjustment to exposure and straighten slightly.

did he catch something? excellent and well-timed "action" shot! :-)
the net has been frozen in a very good position with the fisherman in a
great pose, maybe just a little bit stronger contrast and sharpness would
be nice too. well seen & captured, thor.
