The Orang Ali are the native people of Cameron Highlands. Orang Asli (lit, "original peoples" or "aboriginal peoples" in Malay) is a general term used for any indigenous groups that are found in Peninsular Malaysia. In 2000, the Orang Asli comprised only 0.5% of the total population in Malaysia.They still strive to live as they have always done, harvesting the plants and hunting. But with the forest being cut to make place to farms many of the Orang Ali villages seem to be displaced or encercled by the farmes. Semi nomads the Orang Ali move their village when the resourses get scarced. Here a picture of a rooster in one of the typical houses. This liettle village of not more tham 10 houses was almost empty, that sunday afternoon. Few kids and old woman. The man in the hunt the woman to the church. The Orang Ali in this region were mostly converted to Christinity.

O destaque aqui são os elementos circundantes ao bicho. As cores deles também estão uito boas, com a composição geral. E nem ouvó ele cantar em outra lingua ... :-)
