Photographer’s Note

Isola Bella - Beautiful Island.
This small peninsula is situated on the eastcoast of the Island of Sicily near the coastal town of Naxos and the mountain village of Taormina.
At the top of the island one can see the top of a villa which goes all the way through the island from the bottom. No one lives in the villa as the island was declared a nature reserve about 20 years ago. Now it is used to study a particularly kind of lizard which only lives at Isola Bella.

Wonderful picture!
High pov - quite privileged - and vertical format were superb choices here! Sharpness, exposure, natural colors and depth of filed are excellent! The composition was effectively and skillfully done, with pretty attractive and inviting visual results!
Who wouldn't want to be there now, just doing doing, getting a good and relaxing rest?

Hi Maria,
Nice picture but I think the foliage in the foreground is a bit messy. Perhaps you could have excluded it.

Hello Maria,

The composition is good, even if the bottom left corner could have been croped (the red and blue building catchs the eye). If only the sicilians would have not build a railway in this place !
But the upper part of this picture is very beautiful : the island is at the right place and the colors are gorgeous, especially the sea.
