Photographer’s Note

Tourists crowding one of the balconies on the Fisherman's Bastion, a well known attraction at Buda castle also known as Castle Hill, offering great views over the city.

The Halászbástya or Fisherman's Bastion is a terrace with colonnades flanked by towers and turrets. It was designed and built between 1895 and 1902 in the neo-Gothic and neo-Romanesque styles, following the plans of the well known Hungarian architect Frigyes Schulek.
