Photographer’s Note
A view on wonderful White Park Bay, on the road from Ballintoy to Giants Causeway. This piece of coast was property of HINI (Hostelling International Northern Ireland) asosciation but it was left to National Trust in 1983. Today this wonderful sandy beach surrounded by beautiful dunes is still property of National Trust still. There is still a youth hostel facing the bay, with a view many very expensive hotels dream to offer to their customers ! I had slept here the first time I've been there in 2000, but it was full this year :( From the car park close to the hostel, a foot path drives you to the beach. From what I understood, the white building you can see on the photo used to be a school. I can't imagine how hard for pupils to keep concentrated on their work with such a view through the window !

hello Olivier,
great shot of this well known place. When I have been there I didn't manage to get so close to this building. I just have few shots from the road. Very well taken.
warm regards

Also, it's such a tiny school, Olivier!
And a wonderful photo, that really does this scene justice. You have captured the light superbly, and given your photo great depth with the composition. The waves and the clouds look beautiful, and the white building is interesting too, an unusual structure with few windows!
Great work.

Andrew

Bonjour Olivier.

Salut Olivier,
very well composed wideangle seascape. The central positioning of the main element is rather unusual but it works very well here.I like this kind of low light and the natural coours it produces on digital cameras combined with this lens. TFS

Bonjour,
Bonne continuation.
Sylvain.
