Photographer’s Note
Whitepark Bay Sunset
Situated about 7 miles west of Ballycastle, Whitepark Bay is about 2 miles wide opening straight into the Atlantic ocean and accessible from either the car park at the top of a steep climb or from Ballintoy harbour which is just around the headland in the distance to the east. Neolithic man chose this beautiful place as an early home and a tumulus can be seen among the dunes.

Stephen,
This is a magical shot! The long exposure worked well for you here creating a mystic look with the moving water. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. The colors in the sky are fantastic and you have captured it masterfully.
Outstanding photo!!!!!

Hi Stephen,
I just posted a photo of this wonderful place, but not with the same point of view at all. And not the same light I must say ! Great atmosphere here ! Stil a great pleasure to see your photos. And you're a lucky man living such a beautfiful place as county Antrim ;)

Hey Steve,
truly amazing shot!! I love every single detail! The sharp clear rocks are perfect. Those intense clouds are also a real eye catcher, but you know what? The soft, delicate water bottom right is what really touches me.
Have a great evening,
Linda
