Hello Swiatek,
This is a beautiful and strong portrait. I thank you for giving me the chance to see a face that I might not otherwise get to see. Your African portaits are all very engaging. On a side note, I was looking through one of the Lonely Planet photography books, and noticed your photo entitled "Welcome to Somaliland" right away. It was nice to see a TE member hitting the "big time". :-)

Wow! Pardon my ignorance but in today's internet age I didn't know people still live like this today. What a fascinating portrait.
Best regards,

Excellent sharpness with very threedimensional view. I don't want to even think how they do this sculpturing on a face.
Great job!

Hello Swiatek,
Very powerful portrait. The desaturated look adds an other-worldliness to the black colours. Impressive Flickr-sets, too. It's been a pleasure to browse through them.

What a pleasure to have you here with another gem, Swiatek!
Looking attentively to the woman´s face, I can see some tinny little black dots. do you have any idea about what they would be?
Simple, yet fantastic and straight to the point image.

it is always astonishing to see some old TE figures resurrect from their crypts.
hello swiatek, welcome back with a powerful portrait. her scar-ornaments make her beautiful indeed. the scarf color is deeply beautiful.
i am amazed to see how you made her pose like that, especially without being shy or scared.

Fascinating subject, Swiatek. His scarred face has an almost otherworldly look. As always, you bring out the stunningly glossy shine of your subject's eyes - a hypnotizing effect. Superbly framed by the rich colors of his clothing. Thanks for sharing.
