Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken at the FDR Memorial in Washington, DC around dusk. My 2 1/2 year old niece just ran up to the waterfall by herself and just stared in amazement. We couldn't get her to leave. I captured this shot because I thought it was a quiet, unique moment for this toddler's first trip to DC. And, I wonder if she will remember this moment.
