Photographer’s Note

Walzenhausen is a small village on the Appenzell hills overlooking the Bodensee (Lake Konstanz) that you see on the extreme right of the picture. The image taken from "Platz" shows the houses among the greens and the village core with the Papagolfade on the far distance.

Un bel endroit qui sent bon la chlorophylle. La profondeur de champ est bien utile pour s'éviter un trajet escarpé pour réaliser la papagolfade dominicale.

You chose a nice POV for this shot allowing us a nice overview of this Swiss scene. The houses are nicely framed by the lush greenery around them. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. I just spent 3 days in Switzerland and saw/photographed many similar scenes.

You chose an excellent POV to show this area, as the diagonal from the mountain slope makes a good start for a good composition. The red roofs balance each other amidst the greenery. We will have to get out the magnifying glasses to see the lake and the church! ;D

Pratiquement pas un goutte d'eau, même pas pour remplir 1 ballon de fendant et très chaux, chaud comme ta belle image, mangigique maison blottie dans la natures avec ces beaux tois, merveilleux ambassadeur de la Suisse.

This image is quite pleasant and truly beautiful, with excellent sharpness, exposure, colors and depth of field! The pov was very well chosen and the composition is pretty good!
The diagonal line in the bg is very interesint with the houses, other buildings and trees! The sky looks beautiful too!

je ne sais pas ce qu'il y a comme ballades à faire dans le coin pour y passer 4 jours,mais je la trouverais très bien pour y habiter tout le temps!J'aime ces maisons enfouies dans la nature,et la vision du village à l'horizon est très agréable!Un coin où il doit faire bon vivre!

a place to spend four or more days? I wish I had them when I finally arrive in Switzerland! I will have only 3, and the "nice" weathermen promise rain, rain, rain and thunderstorms for these days!!
Very lovely place, nice view... quite relaxing; and the "RGB effect" makes this view shine :)
