Photographer’s Note
High above the lower Linzgau and with a stunning view over Lake Constance sits Heiligenberg Castle. The monumental "Rittersaal" [Knight's Hall] and the castle's formidable appearance bear witness to its original function as a fortress and seat of the Grafen von Heiligenberg and Werdenberg. Today the castle is owned by the Haus Fürstenberg.
