Photographer’s Note

Perched at the top of Menez-Bré (approximately 300 meters), the Saint-Hervé chapel dominates all the area. This privileged geographical location makes it possible to discover Trégor in its near total. The bases of this chapel date at least from the VIth century.
This place is also the site of famous fairs (in particular for the horses), perhaps created as of XIIe century by the monks of Bégard, but at least confirmed in 1637 by Louis XIII. They are still attended in the middle of the XIIth century.
The vault is rebuilt many times, in XVIth century first of all then at the XVIIth century. The vault is classified historic building since 1962.

In background you can see a table of orientation which enables you to get information about the surroundings.

On a preceding photograph I showed you this herd located in the fields around the chapel. Then, here is another in WS for the pleasure…

Very good sunday to all.
