Photographer's Note

Taken from the Aiguille du Midi at 12000 feet, the furthest peak is Mont Blanc and the nearer needles are part of the midi itself. The view from this point, reached either by 2 cable cars from Chamonix or 2 from Courmayer, both spectacular trips, is absolutely stunning. Lunch in the tiny restaurant, the highest in Europe, is pricy but worth it! Snapped on a basic digital camera, can't remember exactly what! Slight contrast & exposure adjustment in Lightroom.
