Photographer’s Note
Though Ratha Yatra (parade with the cart of lord Jagannath) is intended for Jagannath Dev in Puri Dham and it is the most famous festival in Orissa, specially at Puri, it is similarly popular in Kolkata (Capital of West Bengal, India)as well.
This year when I went out for some photograph of this festival in Kolkata, saw something different in a place where Tara Maa (one of DUS (Ten) MAHAVIDYAS of Maa Shakti) being taken in a Rath (cart) along with another Rath of lord Jagannath. I have tried to capture that rare moment which I am glad to share with you all.
