Just as I was about to hop in the truck to start heading back to Mae Suai these lady waved me over to take a quick picture. At first she somewhat self consciously played with her bandage but after some reassurance (that can only be described as some smiling and shoulder shrugging - something that is understandable in both Akha and English) we got this.. one of two images taken.
