View from Skiathos island

When nature is its high spirits, then it can create masterpieces. This is what most probably happened in the case of Skiathos. The geological realignment of the peninsula of Magnesia had as a result for fractures to be created and partial portions of the earth to be sunken, which in the future composed the complex of the north Sporades islands. Skiathos is between the islands of Skopelos Alonissos and Skiros.

This evergreen island is a sample of natural beauty with trees flooding it, contributing decisively on the strengthening of its beauty. For its name many things are said. The trustworthiest "verdict", seems to be the one that is related with the shade that the forest created and that still exists on the island.

With a very healthy climate, it is a pole of attraction for thousands of visitors that choose this island for their summer holidays, and not only for that. There are quite a lot that visit the island on less busy months.

Whichever season one decides to visit this island one thing is for sure, he will be fascinated
