Photographer’s Note
Just a quick coffee break from my Austrian trip photos.
One day I was driving home from Edmonton and was overwhelmed and scared by being so close to Mother Nature. Thunderstorm and typhoon was following highway pretty close almost all the way through from Edmonton to Calgary. That was quite *exciting* time having such a *neighbor* so close to yourself.
Enjoy,
Mike :-)

Hello Mike,
This is an awesome picture. Honestly, this looks like some kind of giant teeth appearing in the sky ready to bite you. I would be kinda scared to see this too. A very timely picture, well exposed and composed.

Gert

Hi Mike,
The thumbprint really me me an impression of a mouth with giant teeth, ready to take a big bite of the landscape below. I have never seen such scary clouds (and I hope I never will...)
Kind regards

Hi Mike,
that´s scary, like an alien spaceship. The storms here are bad enough this summer, but this here is from a different dimension!

Ciao Mike!
Fantastica ed impressionante questa immaggine! Il cielo mette paura, ma è bellissimo nella sua evoluzione, bello anche il rapporto cromatico con il campo giallo!
Saluti, Nino.

hi Mike,
considering what has been happening with airplanes lately, and how unusual weather is in so many places, this is really, REALLY scary, makes you realize how tiny we are. great shot, with all the overexposed area. one thing I'd change is the frame - gray frames almost always make photos look more dull than they actually are, I guess the grey visually decreases contrasts. black or white frame usually works better.
best,
Kristine

Hi Mike!
Wow, that's really impressive! The Pov, that shows well the shape of the thunderstorm, is strong, and very effective; and the contrast of colors is striking too. But I agree with Kristine (avene) for the choice of frame. I would pick out a black one to enhance the impact.

HI Mike
Looks heavy and menacing, I guess when you see this it's time to check if your camera can stand the water test ! Well framed leaving much space to the big cloud
Have a nice day JY

Hello Mike,
I think you capture the essence of the situation well!
The heavy carpet of clouds, the downpour in a distance, amazing...
But most impressive is probably the shape of that cloud, never seen anything quite like this, looking like teeth actually...!

Привет, Миша,
Это похоже на кадр из Дня независимости, когда тень от тарелки накрыла землю. Впечатляющий снимок.И что, вот так низко всё это происходит? И каковы последствия?
Удачного воскресенья!
Серёга.

Hi Mike
Like a cover over the landscape, the heavy, dark clouds makes a kind of mystic atmosphere. The impact the clouds has on the light conditions is great. Looks like there is a shower in the distant right side of the cover of clouds, thats a nice detail to include. Well done! TFS.
Best regards, Erling
