The City of Mariana Photo

Photographer’s Note

Mariana is the oldest city in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. It is a touristic city, founded on July 16, 1696, and retains the characteristics of a baroque city, with its churches, buildings and museums.

In the view, the "Igreja de São Pedro dos Clérigos" - Church of Saint Peter of the Clerics, a baroque building from 1754.

Bela fachada lateral com diversos detalhes.Gostei do
enquadramento, mostrando as montanhas e o coqueiro.O pinheiro colaborou na profundidade de campo.Interessante a ondulação daquele telhado.

Mais uma bela foto desta bela cidade Mariana , podes fazer um livro com fotos destas cidades magnificas , gostei do ponto de visão temos uma boa noção como e o telhado da igreja tem um belo formato , gostei muito dos detalhes, bonita a paisagem em volta da vila com estas montanhas pintadas de verde, parabéns!!

Uma foto de Mariana bem diferente! Vc escolheu muito bem o ponto de vista para mostrar, especialmente para nós brasileiros, um lado de Mariana desconhecido! Olá Paulo,
uma bela imagem de Mariana nos mostra aqui, e gostei do tempo fechado também, porém a informação da nota ainda causa muita controvérsia, depois da uma lida nesse link falando sobre o Movimento Catrumano.

You have good technique in displaying this photo,
the colouring seems to give impression that it could have been taken long ago, not with the modern digial camera, this suits this fine architecture and surrounds.
Good scene and colours. Also good notes.

Esse estado de Minas é uma mina para quem queira ver igrejas barrocas. E aqui está mais uma, vista quase de trás, o que nem fica mal. As formas abauladas são muito curiosas.

me gusta la combinación de la espléndida arquitectura de la iglesia con las casas más sencillas y el paisaje que rodea este lugar, en un buen encuadre que incluye las palmeras y las ramas del árbol a la izquierda.
El conjunto es elegante, está bien equilibrado y tiene una suave luz muy interesante; es un buen trabajo, amigo.

A quite amazing church! The curved lines of the roof are particular and unique. The church needs paint but it is stylish. The grey sky and the soft colours contributes to agives a crelax atmosphere. The branches makes a nice natural framing on the left side. Well done!

Still a treatment of the photograph that I like much and who give an aspect painting to the image that I appreciate. A church nicely development in its environnemt. The few branches on the lefts gives a good depth to the composition. A really interesting historical architecture, thank you Paulo.

This impressive church dominates the city not only because of its location but also in architecture. Certainly you did not have a very nice day, but the pictures is attractive with great contrasts and colors. The palm tree lets the church look a bit exotic, but that is an additional charm of your shot. Great sharpness and DOF - well done
