Photographer’s Note

Silence...that's what I found here...at last - Vaeroy Island - 11.00 pm:)
We travelled along Lofoten in July and if you wish to experience relax, rest and peacefulness that's the most magical part of Norway.
Lofoten is an archipelago and a traditional district in the county of Nordland, Norway. Though lying within the Arctic Circle, the archipelago experiences one of the world's largest elevated temperature anomalies relative to its high latitude.
I've been there several times and anytime I was there it was around 20 - 24 degrees:)
I miss Lofoten so much that I decided to dig in my drawer and enjoy the views...

you are very right in your notes Gosia, it!s obvious that the place has a silent atmosphere that i can feel it even looking at the photo.. like the narrow cadrage and the frame.. and the small red structure is very eye-catching detail here.. maybe you would place the port to left-down corner and more view from the right side.. anyway, like the result also..

A nice postcard, quite well balanced, mild light of this pleasant island that I visited almost 30 years ago. Very characteristic deep blue sea and red houses of this norgegian polar circle landscape

Witaj, Nocne zdjęcie z północy. ja nie byłam aż tak wysoko, a te białe noce robiły wrażenie. Fajny widok na skaliste wysepki i łodki. Ale spokój!

Czesc Gosiu,
Klimat, jaki lubie;) Ladnie wyglada ta kolorowa, skandynawska architektura na tle wody. Obiecuje sobie, ze jeszcze raz sie wybiore do Norwegii, ale tym razem z aparatem. Ladne zdjecie.

the light and the colors are fantastic and it is not only the atmosphere of serenity and relaxation that makes this impression very attractive it is the mood of the most beautiful season, the summer, that you have captured perfectly. This is Scandinavia in a nutshell. TFS!

Hi Gosia,
A very attractive combination of blue, red and white. As I mentioned before, there is a clear resemblance to the Swedish west coast archipelago. We will go to Norway next week, but definitely not as far north as this (maybe Trollstigen, I saw your excellent phto from that).

Cisza? Chyba tak. Ladna panoramka. Ciekawe wspomnienie z Norwegii. Oni tam lubia domki malowac na czerwono, jak zauwazylem na wielu fotografiach. Fajne kontrasty i odbicia.
